MISSION & FOCUS

The primary goal of the La Grange Rotary Club’s Charitable Giving Program is to improve the quality of people’s lives by providing direct financial support to organizations that deliver effective programs to meet the needs of the International Rotary and Oldham County communities.
    

The Club will consider funding requests for the following areas which incorporate Rotary International’s six avenues of service:

Education

The La Grange Rotary Club has a long history of supporting educational programs in the local community by funding scholarships, awards programs, teams and clubs. Avenue of Service: Supporting Education.

Human Services

The Club is committed to supporting organizations worldwide that provide social, family, health, youth development, and crisis relief services. Avenue of Service: Fighting Disease, Providing clean water, Saving mothers and children

Arts, Culture & Community Development

The Club supports libraries, historical societies, the arts, housing and neighborhood development, and community foundations in the local community. Avenue of Service: Supporting education.

Religion

The Club provides resources and support of religious activities, such as youth camps, ministerial associations, and councils in the local community. Avenue of Service: Promoting peace.
